Flathead Shelter Friends' (FSF) mission is to ensure our Flathead County Shelter has the resources, modern facilities, and updated equipment they need to thrive. OUR MISSION

At Flathead Shelter Friends, we believe every animal deserves a chance to thrive. Fueled by the generosity of our local community, we are dedicated to increasing adoption rates, enhancing the daily lives of animals at the Flathead County Animal Shelter, and fostering a culture of responsible pet ownership.

Our mission is driven by a simple, powerful goal: connecting every animal with a loving, permanent home. Every contribution we receive directly supports this vision, ensuring our shelter residents receive the care and advocacy they need to transition into their "forever" families.

Every Dollar Raised Brings Us Closer to Our Ultimate Goal: Ensuring Every Animal Finds a Loving, Forever Home.

OUR CORE INITIATIVES

  • Expanding Adoptions: Streamlining the path from shelter to home.

  • Enhancing Well-Being: Elevating the standard of care and quality of life for animals in transition.

  • Community Education: Providing the resources and knowledge needed for successful, lifelong pet ownership.

Together, We Are Making a Measurable Difference in the Lives of Flathead County’s Animals.
